Born and raised in Houston, Tx, "V Squad" grew up in the Acres Homes Community on the North side and demonstrated an appreciation for quality music at an early age. He would often dig in the crates and listen to vinyl recordings of legendary artists and groups.
Music is in a space now where artist are unapologetically open about not being the most talented, not having any passion or desire for music and are more than happy to just collect a check. Rappers are heavy on melody and repetitive catchy tunes over content, lyricism and preserving the essence of Hip Hop. V Squad while remaining relevant like other prominent emcees who refuse to subdue to the current state of this generations Hip Hop culture.
V Squad is on a continuous process to develop a catalog of music with spiritual content and a message that displays his heart, creativity, and conviction.
