Behind the name, hers, Ingrid Laventure is not trying to hide. Along with her three accomplices, she spreads around melodies that sprung in her room.
It starts like a romantic comedy, turns into a vampire movie and ends in a gangster film.
The adventure is as tumultuous as the music - it varies between psyche, soul and rock. It feels just like crying of joy or dancing after a breakup, from one extreme to another, Laventure plays with nuances to catch us off guard, sweep us off our feet.
The band refuses to settle for a genre and the set is constantly changing. In a song, we go from the sweetness of prom to the adrenaline of high-speed pursuit - drums intensifie, guitars collide, bass guitar weaves and rolls around the keyboard. From a powerful voice, we fall into a sigh, a whisper in free fall.
