Jillz is a Malawian Born musician, raised in South Africa & Namibia in the early days of his childhood, where he gained most of his music influences from and this is how he began playing around with live band instruments.
Jillz, however had always been interested in playing drums and played his first ever live performance as an opening drummer act from Malawi’s biggest Reggae Band (The Black Missionaries) in Namibia at the age of 10.
In the Years that followed after, Jillz began to record and compose his own music and later began producing when he was 16.
Since then, Jillz has worked with plenty of award winning-artists and producers in his home country Malawi such as Dominant 1, Dare Devils, Theo Thomson, Toast, Tuno and Home Grown African just to name a few of the local based artists.
In his Two Years of being in South Africa, Jillz has worked with countless various local artists and producers such as Dj Sliqe, Mr Kamera, J.R, Cassper Nyovest, Dj PH, Ali Keys, Reason, Rowlene, Sho Madjozi, Lady Zamar and Many More. Mostly around his favourite upcoming artists too.
Jillz’s most recent achievement is producing Cassper Nyovest’s latest single “Move For Me” which is topping the radio charts and yet, this is only a taste of what this Young Talented individual will to offer to world
