Andrew Land is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer, as well as being one half of electronic duo Braedur.
Born and raised in Yorkshire, and currently based in the Midlands, UK, Land was classically trained through his youth, but moved away from this training to focus on self-taught more contemporary music, before ultimately combining the two to form the works heard today.
Invoking the likes of Ólafur Arnalds, Jon Hopkins and Nils Frahm, Land's sound straddles a Venn diagram where ambient, electronic and neo-classical music meet, bringing through elements of each without ever totally resting in one single genre.
Debut single, Mediation was released in Dec 2020, with follow-up single, Relevant Event and three track EP (Making Good) Defects both released in Jan 2021 and single, Loss & Expense, released in March.
Debut album, Relevant Matters, was released on 30th April 2021 on Collaborative Records and represents the culmination of almost a year's work through lockdown.
