Niemoc is a unique instrumental trio formed in 2014 in Zielona Gora, western Poland. With a thoroughly-crafted portfolio of melodic, indie-inspired guitar riffs laid on top of dancy rhythms, this alt boy band has made a name for themselves in the Polish scene throughout their almost-a-decade long cooperation. Mostly recognized for their energetic live shows, balancing between a rock performance and a late night disco, Niemoc released a string of EPs, followed by two albums and numerous collaborations. Initially a heavily 80s inspired act (compared to the likes of Durutti Column), Niemoc moved towards a more modern, hi-fi sound with their last LP, “Kilka Najlepszych Dni w Życiu” (ang. “Some of Life’s Best Days”) that they promoted with a live tour featuring guest vocal performances. Year 2024 marks the tenth anniversary of the band being active in its current shape, a chapter that led them to cooperate with some of Poland's greatest (KAMP!, Baasch, Coals, Misia Furtak, Rysy, Oxford Drama, tęskno and more), perform at a number of prestigious events (SZIGET, Open’er, Męskie Granie, OFF Festival, MENT Ljubljana, Tauron Nowa Muzyka, Spring Break) and leave behind a major digital footprint (live sessions recorded for Boiler Room, Sofar Sounds and Polish Television Kultura).
