Ignited was born in 2017 with a mission to deliver powerful, energetic heavy metal. Their debut album, Steelbound, arrived in November 2019, marking the band’s official entrance onto the scene. In April 2022, following the pandemic, they released a live album capturing their first-ever concert.
The band spent the first half of 2022 crafting their second album before heading to Gothenburg, Sweden, to record at the legendary Studio Fredman with renowned producer Fredrik Nordström. The result, Cradle of the Wicked, was unleashed on October 27, 2023, accompanied by a series of music videos. The album received excellent and promising reviews in magazines such as Sweden Rock and Rock Hard.
Originally from southern Brazil, Ignited now calls Stockholm, Sweden, home. With a revamped lineup, 2024 saw the addition of Andreas Herlogsson (ex-Havamal) on drums and Niklas Bankemo on bass. In April 2025, Erik Forsberg (ex-Wildness) officially joined as the band’s new lead singer and frontman.
Now rising from Scandinavian soil, Ignited is ready to set stages on fire in a new era—spreading the flame of heavy metal across the world!
