It was in 2014 that Aden and Waale two young Beninese artists met at university and discovered a common passion for music; a passion which very quickly materialized through several songs recorded at Black Legion studio of the beat maker and sound engineer Rauny beatz ...
In 2018 they participate in the mixtape "PARALLELE" from producer COC Music ; a highly regarded mixtape that encourages them to continue on this momentum ... In order to have a unique identity to facilitate their identification they decide to merge and change blaze ..
Aden and Waalé therefore became GAAFARA and released in November 2020 the track “Mauvais rêve”, very atmospheric and gloomy; well received by critics.
In January 2021 they released the video of "2021" a fairly hot drill song with sulphurous lyrics. They immediately follow in February with the video of "GAAFARA" where they stage themselves in a rural environment and talk about the condition and the perception of the young black world as an individual in the 21st century.
It is with this last track that they announce the release of their first album "ODIUM" available on March 13, 2021.
