Nhlanhla Mthethwa (Slam Eazzy) is an aspiring independent three times nominated, two times award winning hip hop (rap)/RnB artist, record producer and songwriter from Johannesburg (South Africa). He started realizing his talent during his childhood at an early age where he used to write down lyrics of songs that were being played on radio and then rap along with them word for word. Then during high school he started writing down his own lyrics and made freestyles which he used to record on his mother’s phone. Now he believes he gave birth to a new Genre which he calls African Trap-soul, where he jumps on Trap-soul influenced instrumentals in African languages. The artist was recently nominated at the Ekurhuleni Trap Music Awards and won both categories which were “best trap collaboration” and “best male artist”. This year he has been nominated for the 011 City Awards for the "song of the year" category.
