Zabuli aka known as Nasejje Jaliah is a Ugandan gospel dance hall-ragga artist and a proffesional teacher born and in Entebbe by a christian mother and a Muslim father. She had a chaotic childhood because parents were always fighting over which religion they wanted their kids to practice. Zabuli decided to take her own route. It was an adventurous journey in which she engaged in theft, drug-dealing just to survive.
Meanwhile, her poverty stricken parents had no idea what their daughter was going through. In 2012 her father, confessed Jesus just before he died. That was a turning point. In 2013, Zabuli wrote "Take The Weel," her first single celebrating the life of her fallen father. The song was released in 2014 and by then she had a deeper understanding of who Jesus really was and since then her life has never been the same again.
