Blak Ray is the founder of Street Doktorz Records, with notable members such as KraziNoyze, DJ Jin (SDJin) and DSK (who left the group in 2021).
He temporarily left the label in 2009 after having a dispute with another former member of Street Doktorz and released the first solo mixtape named "I'm Still Finding" as an independent artist.
Around that time, Blak Ray collaborated with many well-known rap artists such as PhuongCD, Subby, Lil Shady, DrBL, Mr.Lonely/Emcee L (Da LAB), Andree Right Hand and Karik. After a short period of time, he went on a long hiatus.
Half a decade later, Blak Ray rejoined Street Doktorz Records. They worked together on the few singles, notably "Đôi Bờ".
In 2021 He released the single "I Appreciate" featuring KraziNoyze - old friend and crewmate from S.D Records - to kick-start his "The Owl, the Bear and the Dying Mind" mixtape, and to mark his active status within the label.
