Nadia Birkenstock, born in Solingen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany, is a German singer and musician known for her work as a harpist. She began her music career with the release of Emerald Isles in 2001, which marked her debut album. In subsequent years, she released several notable albums, including Winter Tales (2006) and Strange New Land (2008), both on Laika Records. Birkenstock's work often features collaborations with other musicians; for example, Whispering Woods (2019) includes contributions from Thomas Vogt on guitar and percussion. Her discography also includes spoken word poetry releases such as Der verzauberte See (2011) and its English counterpart, The Enchanted Lake. In 2024, Birkenstock released the album A Light So Bright under Adriana Records.
