Born in Curitiba, Paraná and residing in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte since childhood, Nara Costa started singing at the age of 5 and has in her biography numerous small, medium and large events, including: Multi-cultural Carnival of the Christmas Town Hall, Patroness Parties and New Year's Eve.
Nara has participated in several important events in the state of RN, such as: Projeto 6 e Meia; Cultural Assembly; Sunday in the square; Music Hangar Award; Forraço music festival; MPbeco; Poticanto Project; Quartinha Petrobras; Cultural Seaway; Circus of Light; SCIENTIFIC; Winter gastronomic and cultural festivals in the cities of Martins, Caicó, Cerro Corá, Guamaré, Pedra Grande, Baia Formosa, Acari and Canguaretama, in addition to the traditional June festivities such as the cob festival in Parnamirim and the June gastronomic festival at Christmas and carnival events held by state municipalities.
Nara Costa with more than 30 years of musical career in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, 5 CDs recorded and some recognized awards, brings in her luggage, shows at important events in the state of RN such as: carnivals, gastronomic, winter and multicultural festivals, traditional June and patron festivals.
At the age of 15, she released her first CD entitled “Balanço Louco” on the Globo TV program Xuxa Park (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d0RjJjIXgnU).
Nara Costa has already taken potiguar music to some capitals in the northeast, some cities in Brazil such as Ponta Porã in Mato Grosso do Sul together with Orquestra Sanfônica Potiguar, at Teatro Rival in Rio de Janeiro and abroad when she was promoting her album “Em Cena” in Northern Italy in 2011, this CD with original songs by potiguares composers with the special participation of Margareth Menezes in the song “Abraço do mar” by Potiguar composer Arcésio Andrade (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v= GJAaJ-jTeUw).

In 2018, he celebrated 30 years of career, with the show “Nordestinamente” performed with the Orquestra Sanfônica Potiguar, at CIENTEC – UFRN Science, Technology and Culture Exhibition.
In 2019 Nara Costa sang at the reopening of the Barreira Roxa hotel in Natal, at the Carnival of Natal and Parnamirim, at the centenary of the parish of São Pedro in Natal. He won two prizes at the 2nd Music Competition of the City of Natal “telling History” as best song and as best performer with the song “Redinha” by the potiguar composer Tico da Costa (i.m). She sang in the “Serestas ao Luar” project, was honored with the postal stamp commemorating the 420th anniversary of the city of Natal and performed her last show of the year on December 25th on the anniversary of the city of Natal in honor of “Gonzaguinha” on stage. from the Mirassol tree (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXaUsMYVhUk).
In 2020 she sang at the 10th Gastronomic Festival of Baia Formosa / RN, at the 4th Festival da Ginga in Natal, at the Carnival of Natal and Parnamirim, promoted three lives at home during the pandemic, also participated in several lives as a guest. In 2021 she promoted the Live in Homage to Gonzaguinha sponsored with resources from the Aldir Blanc Law of the State Government of RN, José Augusto Foundation, Special Secretary of Culture, Ministry of Tourism and Federal Government. He released the video clip “Dona Militana” alongside the artist Potiguar Carlos Zens with music by Tico da Costa (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtrfCPnSILo), sang in Projeto 6 e Meia interpreting the composer Nando Cordel, sang at the Festa do Sabugo promoted by the Parnamirim de Cultura foundation, was a special guest of the concert in honor of the composer Potiguar Elino Julião and the State Day of Forró with the Symphony Orchestra of RN (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v =59xGcWorD0U), received the Elino Julião commendation by the Natal City Council, sang at the Festa do Boi, at the JC Cordeiro Award, at Christmas in Natal and at the Reopening of Forte dos Reis Magos.
In 2022, she participated in the project “Varanda Musical” in celebration of International Women’s Day at Partage Norte Shopping Natal, in the ceremony of delivery of the Medal of Honor to Merit Nísia Floresta, in the TV shows Talento Potiguar, Tudo de Bom, in the event “Mulheres que Marcam” and released his new single entitled “Quem Será.
