KHIMERA is a symphonic metal band from the city of Manizales, Colombia, formed in 2013. It is characterized by its rich sound and versatility. with multiple facets and musical influences that create its Khimeric sound- sometimes modern, classical, heavy, folkloric, and occasionally melancholic. The band blends powerful guitar riffs, deep basslines, and strong drums with the classical touch of orchestral passages and lyrical and operatic vocals. Their lyrics embrace literary themes, folkloric narratives, and universal myths and legends with a humanistic and philosophical sense.
