With his flow and music based on rich Swahili-English lyricism and catchy soulful melodies inspired by a mélange of afro-fusion-like rhythms well infused with Reggae/Dancehall, Pop, Soul & Jazz undertones, Mesh Wallen emerged in the late part of 2019 as one of Kenya's most promising artists. His first single "Lubbish" , where he addressed themes like self-confidence, love, and unity did not do that well but paved the way for his other much popular singles, the most popular one being "Always", a year later.
