Melodic modern metal (Paris, FR)
Kozoria is a modern metal band from Paris, founded by guitarist-vocalist and composer Julien Perdereau. The band released its debut album The Source in 2024 through the Swedish label Black Lion Records and celebrated with a sold-out release party at Backstage at the Mill in Paris. The album was released along with video productions, including live sessions and three music videos for the tracks Reborn, Division, and We're Wolves.
Kozoria's signature sound features catchy riffs, massive choruses, and a blend of guttural and melodic vocals. Kozoria’s style is rooted in the intensity of thrash and death metal, with a resolutely modern progressive touch. The band's music explores themes of doubt, the mysteries of the universe, and the inherent dialectics of human existence.
In 2025, Kozoria is set for two European tours, including shows in Germany and Denmark (Metal Power Open Air, Raise Your Horns Festival). The band is also actively working on the production of their second album.
