As a specialist in taking listeners to a dreamlike world of comfort, mystery and liberty, Montreal-based musician M3LL0Ws is on a mission to have her songs and melodies whistled by everyone across the globe.
Having grown up surrounded by the natural beauty of the Appalachian landscape, this upbringing in such a tranquil environment shaped the way for a lifetime spent pursuing music. Piano lessons at the age of five quickly turned into finishing her first song at the age of seven, with M3LL0WS knowing from an early age that music was her gift and purpose in life.Â
The starlit skies and bottomless lakes that shaped her childhood have now inspired M3LL0WS to hone in her talents around the genre of Electro, with lashings of Hypnotic Pop and Indie making an appearance. Her sophisticated sound evokes an idealistic, romanesque way to dream, to see things; an oneiric world in her music. Above all, her credentials certainly highlight her multitude of talents as a pianist, singer, songwriter and producer.
Since obtaining her bachelor's degree in music performance (Pop/Jazz), M3LL0WS has added a wealth of achievements and experience to her musical CV. As the winner of the Festival De La Chanson De Petite Vallée, two "Coup de Pouce" awards, and a nomination for best documentary music at the Gemini Awards, her credentials have cemented her as an artist to watch. Additionally, she has had original music created for television, and has songwriting credits attached to countless famous artists and musicians in Quebec and internationally.
