Meleik Yawdy Bwoy is from St. Ann, Jamaica, and grew up in a little town on the North Coast known as Runaway Bay with a traditional family. Attending primary school in the area, my love for music was discovered firstly in instruments where the drums got introduced at the age of four in grade one. Achieving a scholarship and York Castle High was where the secondary stage of education took place. After high school, with no hope of college, employment was not an option. Surrounded by talented musicians in all areas of music, there is no doubt that one-day recordings would have started.
From playing in a band to selecting, then producing, and now growing as a recording artist, the aim is to do music and not to be limited by genres. The latest release was Island Girlz with executive production from the Mad Storm team. Currently working on an EP with Mattex Entertainment.
