Kevin Daniel Hozez (born October 9, 2000), known professionally as Kevin Hozez, is an Argentine record producer and DJ. Growing up in Buenos Aires, he began his musical career performing as a disc jockey at private parties under the name Hypershock, before leaving to pursue a solo career in 2017.
Hozez was born in Tapalque, a small town in the center of the province of Buenos Aires, where he attended elementary school. But moved to Tandil at the age of 18. While a young teenager in Tapalque, Hozez would made electronic music mixes, which he uploaded to Youtube reaching thousands of views. On April 15, 2016, Hozez announced his label, Hypershock Records. "The label's first release will come from Swedish music producer Olsby". In mid-2017, Hozez recorded, mixed and produced his debut studio album, Good Vibes, which was released by Hypershock Records in August, 2018.
Since the beginning of his musical career, Hozez has released several solo singles and has also been part of collaborations with artists such as Denise Chanté, Spencer, Lox Chatterbox, Billy H and more. He has produced "Don Ramón", "Que Debo Hacer", "Menta", "Perdido en el club" and more songs by Kattorce and other artists. In 2019, he was scheduled to produce his second studio album "El Comienzo" with Coto yb, and the EP "Eclipse" with Kattorce.
In July 2020, "El Comienzo" was released on all platforms, an album consisting of eight original tracks, including "Ya Me Pegué" which had been released on the internet months prior. Coto yb released lyric videos for all the tracks on his official YouTube page on July 31, 2020. 5 months later, the EP "Eclipse" was released.
