Kevin Christie, better known by his stage name Majestic, is a British MC, DJ, and producer. Born and raised in North London, Majestic emerged in the UK garage scene when he was just 15, MC’ing at nightclubs and local pirate radios. His official debut single, “Kebab Riddim,” appeared in 2005 and was followed by 2006’s The Topgear EP. He continued to perform as an MC at festivals throughout Europe and his next single, the Wideboys collaborative track “In The VIP” saw the light in 2009. In the following years, Majestic worked with a wide array of artists, including Laidback Luke and Slim on 2013’s “Pogo” and Jungle 70 on 2014’s “Creeping in the Dark.” He also produced a handful of DJ mixes under the title Pure House & Garage between 2016 and 2017. A prolific artist, Majestic kept releasing music at a steady pace with singles like “I Wanna Be Down” (2019), “Shut You Down” (2020), and “Rasputin” (2021), a collaboration with Eurodisco outfit Boney M. that entered the UK Official Singles Chart at Number 96.
