London based singer-songwriter, poet, musician, Lu.Ci is poised to announce a brand new release on 10th September 2021 with the arrival of ‘I Need you.’
Lu.Ci Had written this track during lockdown as it was such a surreal experience. Life as we know it has been ripped away from us and Lu.Ci was compelled to document it artistically. This piece has an ambient, electro beat, mixed with conscious lyrics which is really relatable to listener and the climate. Lu.Ci felt that this song had to be released before completing the trilogy as it comes with an important message.
She says “The message I want people to take from this is simple. Do not take life, love and others for granted. Enjoy every sense of freedom that you obtain and strive for your happiness. We have all lost this simple right once before and we only have one life to make it count so wake up everyday knowing that you can achieve anything you wish, you just need to be prepared to experience it.”
London born and bred Lu.Ci was driven by creativity from a young age. Painting, studying music, singing lessons, choir, performing in musicals and live bands. Her alternative, electro sound which combines both singing and rap comes from a compassionate core and love for spoken word poetry. A talent very evident in her lyrics, which are often deep, talk about real life and are not afraid to tell it how it is. Lu.Ci’s down to earth, genuine vibe makes you feel like you’ve known her for years and that feeling of connection really reaches out through her music. Working closely with her producer at Jampact Recordings, Lu.Ci and her music has been supported by BBC Radio London, BBC Radio Kent, Amazing Radio UK, Riverside Radio and Brooklands Radio. She has also been featured in Fame Magazine, Linq Mag, XS Noise and With Guitars and is currently working on her EP.
