Héctor Mario Mautino, known professionally as Fernando de Madariaga, is an Argentine singer born on November 19, 1944, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 1966, he signed his first contract with EMI Odeón Argentina but did not release any material. His breakthrough came in the early 1970s when he released singles under Music Hall and collaborated with the group Cáscara. In 1975, Madariaga participated in the World Popular Song Festival in Tokyo, Japan, winning the Most Outstanding Performance Award for "Búscame, llámame". Albums include his debut Sobran las palabras (1974). He represented Argentina at the Certamen Internacional de Canciones del Musical Mallorca 76 and participated in several films. In 1984, all songs from his album Amores de mi vida (1985) were featured in the TV novela No es un juego vivir, marking a significant milestone for Argentine television.
