RCTV was born in 2007 at the time of El Cuartel, an alternative and intercultural space on Gozzoli street in San Borja. Place where many artistic disciplines coexisted, adolescent period of the late 2000's: creative energy in abundance. A house on the corner that, before being demolished, was taken over to create music and experiment with other languages. Post El Cuartel, from the “no place”, we turned to digital as Radio Cuartel Tv. In the midst of the evolutionary process, in 2011, the opportunity arose to travel to work on a radio drama with Aguarunas and Wampis, a project that lasted almost a year: an experience that gave a complete 360° turn to RCTV's vision as intercultural content manager. During the pandemic we continue to create music and generate ties with other disciplines and projects, even sharing our logistics with independent projects in Peru and other countries. This is how we managed to organize from concert broadcasts on Instagram, Facebook Live, Youtube, Twitch. In January 2021 we were selected as a resident artist at the French Alliance of Lima. And today we are about to release two new songs on all music platforms. Radio Cuartel Tv since its foundation in 2007 has functioned as an interdisciplinary collective focused on the performing and musical arts.
