At the age of 10, Raphaël Angelini gave his first piano concert in which he mixed classical music and popular songs. This unique style became his typical musical signature.
When he turned 15, he joined the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Belgium) where he studied under the great Russian pianist Mikhaïl Faerman and obtained a master’s degree in piano.
In 2007, he launches a label of independent music with friends : “Promania Asbl”. Under this label, he recorded his first album Prémices. The single Les chevaliers de la Gaudriole quickly became popular on the Internet and got nominated in 2009 at the JPF Music Awards of Nashville (USA), as “best European song”.
In 2018, he released a solo piano album in which he reinvented classical music and that included pieces composed during his youth. The album was received very favorably by American critics and media. It was entirely recorded, mixed and mastered by the artist in his home studio.
Starting from 2022, Raphaël Angelini will release one to two albums/EPs every year on digital platforms. He also produces many artists for the label Promania, which has become an essential pillar of associative music. Raphaël regularly writes short stories, poems and musical biographies. He teaches piano in several music schools.
