A new British singer/songwriter based in Sheffield, writing meaningful and thought-provoking lyrics covering a range of current and relevant topics. In his own words, his music “Fuses Rock, Hip-Hop and Pure Passion”. This passion translates into the desire to make a difference via his music and his songs have a raw edge to them which reflect this. His songs express his feelings about the injustices seen in today's world, and his understanding and compassion for mental health issues is reflected in his lyrics.
Charlie started writing songs during the first COVID lockdown and hasn’t stopped since. He has built up a significant portfolio of songs which have been refined and honed by constant practice and live performances. He has teamed up with local music producer, Kev Lamb to record and release his music, the first, Life’s in Motion, released Sept 2022 with many more to follow over the next few months.
A prolific solo live performer, he has played numerous gigs in and around Sheffield and Derby since the summer of 2021. He plays both acoustic and electric guitar, building up complex soundscapes with his loop pedal. His main influences are the Arctic Monkeys, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley and Kanye West.
