Tsekiso Motaung Also Know as TK-Y.I DaBLACK-BONE/TKONDaMACHINES Born in Sebokeng VAAL 1992 July 13. He is a Real Musicians, Record Producer of Various Artist like KARIN, SLEEPY EYES, KOOLMADKID, RAYZA and Others to name a few.
As a young kid he has been passionately involved in the scenes of HIP-HOP since from 2003 Primary school. It was love from the first start when he started listening to the International likes of Eazy E, 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G, 50 Cent, Dr Dre and Lately J Cole, AB Soul, Immortal Techniques to name a few, Nationally Pro Kid, ProVerbs, Mathematics Ntate BaBie, HHP, Amu Hidden Force, Mothipa, K Method and Golden Shovel with Optical Illusion since from then there was no returning back. Coming from a family that didn't understand Hip Hop was Struggle to make them realise and Accept my Talent.
It was somehow difficult to find a good studio so I was forced to Start Building mine which became a Success. After That I had to Convince My family By Finishing My High School, Going to College And Bienjing Union University Abroad to Study Engineering which made everyone happy Except me Because the love i have for Music is unconditional.
His first single was My Time To Shine featuring LadyBird, Then He started to work with the likes of TBO TOUCH NTJA MAZWE, LEQWA KA BOKGOPO, SNACH, CALIBRE CORPS, SAMMY PRO, LORD PK MOPHEME SEBAKENG, DEEJAY DMAZ, CAUSTIZZY and His Old YMTIB FAM TEAM ( Lil DEE, Freaky Queen, King Mobsta, The Truth and TEDDY Flames) which did work out as he wanted, So He started The New YMTIBFAM 2018 With the likes of KARIN, SLEEPY EYES, KOOLMADKID and RAYZA which is doing good receiving great reviews even getting few tracks he Produced play on couple of local Radio stations. As an Independent Record Label owner of YMTIB BASELINE RECORDS and 6SEVEN DICE RECORDS things are looking good for the Future of myself and my team.
So far His a Record Producer, Composer, Music Video Director and Editor on his Record Label, He hasn’t performed in bigger stages but will anytime soon when given the chance.
His aim is to Change the Music Industry and make it a Fantastic platform for Talented kids out there who are not Academically Able to be successful in life but Musically Able to Change their lives.
