I’m Yael Daila—a singer-songwriter who writes songs that feel like whispers only you were meant to hear. Music has always been my passion, but it wasn’t until I faced a serious physical illness in my teens that I truly found my voice through songwriting. I was given a second chance, and with it, I dove headfirst into creating music that reflects my journey: a fearless blend of (Dark) Pop, R&B & Afropop rhythms that capture both the highs and the lows.
My music isn’t just about me—it’s an invitation for anyone to lose and find themselves at once. I know that sounds pretty poetic (don’t blame me, you're here for a reason ?), but think of it like a therapy session: you dive into life’s struggles, lose yourself for a moment, but come out with a clearer sense of who you are. While I yap away about my own feels, I want to create a space where you can explore yours too—and maybe even see things from a new perspective. All while keeping it playful. I mean... crying looks so hot on you, but throw in a smile and you’re a whole snack ??
So with that being said—you could say I write songs that punch you in the heart and kiss you on the forehead at the same time. Ironic, right? If you’re someone who isn’t afraid to feel deeply, grow, and shed a few (happy) tears along the way... I’m your girl ?
