Born and raised in Odorkor, Questo gained a decent buzz in Adisadel College battle rapping with his colleagues from the school and neighboring schools in Cape Coast.
Questo started making music at the age of 13 and worked on his first Rap project “Paranoia EP” with Marvel Empire in 2016.
In the year of 2019, He joined together with Kwame Yesu and Moor Sound and released a 4 track EP “Times We Need Each Other EP” with RGG Studios featuring Copta on “Flexxx” and Magnom on “Fire” and “I Dey Wonder”, and a music video for “I No Want Do (Joey Bennette Flow)”.
Then independently, he released an 8 track Hip Hop/Rap/Alternative album “Ananse” during the COVID19 pandemic in August 2020 with lead single “Daze” released the previous year which is still his most streamed song as of now. This new project sees Questo embracing a rather dirgy delivery as compared to his previous efforts (he mentions taking the influence from his grandmother who is a lead singer for Good Shepherd Methodist Ebibindwom Group and borrows songwriting inspiration from composing songs with her earlier on). The album features Ghanaian rising artist Marince Omario on “Akolabone” and frequent collaborators Zotto, Demmi on “Rundown” and in house producer, engineer and artist Kenxshin on “Designer”.
His latest singles since 2021 carry a significantly similar energy as the “Ananse” album which rumors a Deluxe Edition of his 2020 release later on.
