Jesus Alberto Payan Gonzalez better known as Jesus Payan 32 years old was born on August 29 in San Antonio de la Paz, Badiraguato and was created in Mocorito Sinaloa by both his mother María Guadalupe and father Daniel Payan.
The music taking a very important role in his life, since he was a child he remembers to admire both of his grandparents who played and sang at family parties. Don Demecio, "Tata" as he called him, María's father was the one who discovered his grandson's great admiration for singing and encouraged him to explore his love for music, teaching him to play his first guitar tunes.
Jesus, at 7 years old, remembers listening to Chalino Sanchez cassettes and at the same time wearing boots and a hat imitating him and dreaming to be one day as great as his idol. Since then it was his goal and over time he made his first presentation in his hometown in front of the community, who showed him great support by pushing him to pursue his dream. The first song he sang in front of his audience was “Siguiendo Tus Pasos” (Following Your Steps) by Chalino Sanchez.
