Priessnitz was a Czech rock band from Jeseník, formed in 1989. They released their debut album Freiwaldau in 1992, followed by Nebel later the same year. Their third album, Hexe (1994), was followed by Seance (1996), Potichu? (1997), Zero (2001), and Stereo (2006), culminating in their final studio album Beztíže in 2016. Beztíže received critical recognition, including a nomination for the Apollo Award for Album of the Year, while the song “Mrzáci” was nominated at the Anděl Awards, alongside a nomination for Priessnitz as Group of the Year.
