Spadez is a multifaceted producer, songwriter, and artist whose sound spans hip-hop, electronic and alt-R&B. His catalog includes landmark compilations like Hello My Name Is Spadez, The Produce Section, and The Lost Tape; solo releases such as Moments and Spaaadez Szn: A Collection of Moments; collaboration albums V (with Shady Blaze) and The Juice Factory (PRTTY BOYS); and instrumental projects including Ambience. and Bouquet., showcasing his ability to traverse moods and genres with ease.
A native of El Cerrito, California, Spadez moved cross-country to attend NYU’s prestigious Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, where he shaped both his creative and entrepreneurial vision. At Clive, he entered into a lineage of distinguished alumni—including Maggie Rogers, Take A Daytrip, EJAE (of HUNTR/X), Ojivolta, FLETCHER and many others—whose work has shaped contemporary pop, hip-hop, and production spheres.
While in New York, Spadez developed his signature aesthetic and even used his class final to lay the foundation for his label concept, PRTTY Music. That early spirit of creative independence continues to guide his work today as he prepares for the release of his forthcoming album, Hello My Name Is Spadez 2.
His path reflects both a refined command of production and a relentless impulse to explore—rooted in his Bay Area upbringing while pushing into a wider global conversation.
