It all starts with an idea that persists until it completely takes you over.
João Garcia, best known as Cateto, begins his adventure in music in a conservatory in a Portuguese small town at the age of 4, playing classical guitar. He starts writing in English but quickly turns into Portuguese, producing his own originals under the name Cateto, playing every instrument he can master, with a helping hand on the drums from João Ramos.
The project arises from the artist’s will of expanding his musical culture, going down an independent path which allows him to explore his creativity both as a composer and performer.
