Stefano Fasce is a contemporary classical composer and accomplished flautist, originally from Italy and now based in London. His debut album Solitary Places was released on 20 November 2020.
Solitary Places was recorded at Metropolis Studios in London with the support of the hClub Foundation Emerging Creatives programme. It is a work that blurs the lines between classical tradition, cinematic and electronic to bring contemporary classical music to a new audience.
Stefano is also a successful film composer with works including Dead Birds (2018) which was shortlisted for a Student Academy Award and My Time (2018) which was long-listed for the Academy Awards. His score for Dear Mr. Burton (2020) won Best Original Score at the International Sound & Music Festival.
Review for Solitary Places:
"While it might not often be possible to convey a narrative without lyrics, it is possible to convey feelings and emotion, something that Stefano Fasce manages to do effortlessly on ‘Human’. "
Dave Beech, When The Horn Blows
"Captivating with its natural charm and beauty, 'Things I Didn't Say' takes richly from multiple sources and combines into a crisp and elegant neoclassical endeavor."
