I am a solo post-rock artist from Brisbane, Australia.
There comes a time in life when self-doubt needs to be shelved. About a year ago, I decided to just move through the self-criticism that kept me down and trust that I could make it work as a recording artist if I gave it my all, and so I set off on my journey to produce my first batch of instrumental tracks.
I‘ve had a real passion for film for as long as I can remember and soundtracks have always been a massive part of my inspiration for writing music. I’ve dreamt for a long time of hearing my music in great films, and I’m hopeful that someday that dream will become reality.
I am a solo post-rock artist from Brisbane, Australia. The cinematic threads throughout my music are born from a love of instrumental ambient music in general, but mostly my favorite bands, Sigur Ros and Explosions in the Sky.
More specifically, I draw a lot of my direct inspiration from lesser-known cinematic post-rock artists like Lights and Motion and U137. My debut single, Dear Earth, is the first step on this exciting trip. The song is conceptually about the search for happiness without taking too much from the ones we love.
