Singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, Daniel Mist stands out with his cinematic and poetic universe. Inspired by Thom Yorke, James Blake, Frank Ocean, and King Krule, he shares a taste for risk and sonic experimentation, along with a tendency to blur the boundaries between genres. After studying mathematics in Paris, he released his first EP Troubles (2020), followed by his second opus Take Me Back To School in 2022. These two projects drew the attention of the French press (La Vague Parallèle, Novorama, La Face B, Maze, La Distillerie Musicale, Arty Paris, ..). He also performed several times on Parisian stages (Les Disquaires, Bus Palladium, Alimentation Générale, Bateau El Alamein, ..).
In June 2025, following the release of two singles, he unveiled his latest EP, ‘The Search’, immersing listeners in a world that is melancholic, poetic, and introspective. Here, the boundary between the conscious and the unconscious blurs—just like the line between fiction and reality.
