Some kind of rock from Sardinia/Bulgaria
The project was born in Sofia (BG), when Giuliano Cani and Tobia Collu (the Sardinian vagabonds) met Dimitar “Mitko” Gaydazhiev (the Sofiyan vagabond) and started jamming, soon creating a solid punk rock sound with new wave influences, sharing some songs on streaming platforms shortly after.
The band debuted live in Sofia with this line up in June 2018, as VBGDS. After changing name into VagabOnds, they recorded the remaining songs written during the first year of activity and included them in the self-titled debuting album (VagabOnds), which was released on every digital music platform on the 20th of March 2020.
Currently, VagabOnds are working on their 2nd album, and released their very first videoclip “I Want The Impossible”, directed by Emiliyan Nikolov, in July 2021. During the spring of 2022, the band became a 4 piece after Nicola Mei joined as 2nd guitarist.
In 2023, after opening the concert for the Bulgarian punk band Контрол, the band decided to focus on the recording of the first album as a 4 members piece. Human will be released on every digital music platform on October 11, 2024.
