Cixqó is a Nigerian musician and Song Writer. Born as Iordyeh Moses Aondofa. He is also known as The Organiser for his efforts on getting different artistes to create hit songs on any beat, a feat that has differentiated him from many and won him recognition and several awards and nominations.
With many Singles and 2 released EPs under his belt, Cixqo is an expert independent musician on the rise in the Hip Hop world. Hailing from Vandeikya, Benue State, Cixqo has studied under numerous big-name musical influences in his community.
Although none of his family members were involved in music, Cixqo had an ear and active passion for music at a young age. Cixqo was exposed to quality music while growing up, which made him obsessed with music. He, never thought about making music till 2015 when he met Yunqblood and Pompay.
Over the years, Cixqo developed his skills with production and even piano lessons, for a short period of time. He began performing in his preteens. After studying his quirky idols DJ khaled , Dj Jimmy Jatt, Dj Spinal, Dj clue.
Cixqo adopted a unique approach to his career by not always putting his voice on songs like most DJs do, rather focus on making good quality music by assisting more in picking of the beats and production of the songs.
Cixqo has received numerous awards and acknowledgments including a Top Naija Music Award [TNMA] nomination for his debut song “Street” in 2016, then won the TNMA In 2016 for Best Music Video, and was nominated for Kampustvng Award [Music Talent Award] 2018. He is currently working on new projects.
