Daramola is a Miami-based Afro-Pop/Alternative singer, songwriter and music producer. The Nigerian-born creative grew up in an environment of excellence, and music courtesy of his mother, Gbemi Olaleye, who is a seasoned Gospel artist in the country. He has won a Dove Award, charted on Billboard multiple times, and produced for a number of artists. Between 2008-2015, he produced music for multi-GRAMMY award-winning rapper Lecrae (Columbia Records), Andy Mineo (Reach Records), Brisco (collaborations with Lil Wayne, Flo Rida, DJ Khaled & also a YMCMB artist etc.), and Billboard-charting duo Social Club. He is responsible for the sound that helped launch the South Florida-based hip-hop phenoms, Social Club and also inked them a partnership deal with Capitol Records.
Daramola hopes to create a legacy through his production and his sound. His debut album, “The Last Time I Tried” was released on Feb. 24 2017, and peaked at Number 7 on the iTunes & Apple Music World Genre charts. He recently became a member of the Sony/ATV family. and of newly created talent incubator Neon16, formed by Lex Borrero (Roc Nation Latin) and Tainy (Roc Nation, Cardi B, Bad Bunny, etc). In addition to this, Daramola released his sophomore album in August 2019 with features from Nonso Amadi, and frequent collaborator Karen Inder.
Other than production from Daramola, the album also features sounds from Young Sidechain (Gucci Mane, Future, Andy Mineo), Daneon (Marc Anthony, Will Smith, Llane and more) and Lasanna Ace Harris (Koffee, Lecrae, Lil Wayne). Besides working on a music as a solo artist, Daramola has also written and produced for a number major label acts such as Dylan Fuentes (NEON16), Kesha (Kemosabe), Lecrae (Reach Records), Tensnake (Armada), and many more to come
