Totalement Sublime, composed of Marc-Antoine Barbier (Choses Sauvages), Élie Raymond, and Thomas Bruneau Faubert (Frais Dispo, formerly Foreign Diplomats), was born out of a desire to create with complete creative freedom. The electro-pop project paints contemplative environments, addressing subjects such as fatigue, heat, and nostalgia. Together, they experiment with eclectic arrangements, drawing inspiration from Japanese music of the 80s (Yasuaki Shimizu, Ryuichi Sakamoto) as well as the New York avant-garde scene (Philip Glass, Arthur Russell, Gray).
