sun’s sons sway between hope and hopelessness, capturing the mood of a generation of young people who have the rug pulled out from under them every day and who have learned to hold on to each other.
Founded in 2019 and only really active since 2021 due to the pandemic, the band from Frankfurt am Main has quickly attracted attention with its unique balancing act between danceable Indie-Pop and intimate ballads. Their expressive songs with political lyrics received four-digit radio plays in Germany and almost 100 plays on the renowned US station KCRW.
sun's sons have independently released the two EPs "Clean Slate" (2022), "You & My Mind" (2021), and their debut album "An Odyssey" (2023), thus establishing their international sound. In 2024, a sustainable European tour with shows in France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg and three more tours as support for the UK bands Cardinal Black, Ferris & Sylvester and Walt Disco followed.
