Luv' is a Dutch girl group formed in 1977, consisting of Patty Brard, José Hoebee, and Marga Scheide. The trio was created by record producers Hans van Hemert and Piet Souer, inspired by the German disco trio Silver Convention. Their initial single "My Man" reached number 12 in the Netherlands and became a Flemish Top 10 hit. In 1978, Luv' achieved international breakthrough with "You're the Greatest Lover", which sold one million copies worldwide. The group's subsequent singles, including "Trojan Horse" and "Casanova", also garnered significant success, the same year. Their albums With Luv' (1978) and Lots of Luv' (1979) were particularly well-received. During this period, the group was recognized as 'Holland's best export act', receiving the Conamus Export Prize. The group went through several line-up changes over the years, with original members reuniting periodically. They disbanded in 2012 but reunited in 2016 with a new lineup. Various reissues and remix projects have kept their legacy alive, including "Trojan Horse (Kav Verhouzer Remix)" (2022) and All You Need Is Luv' (Remastered & Expanded Edition) (2025).
