Christian Buchmann was born in Leipzig in 1984 and received
basic musical training in ear training, music theory, choral conducting, singing, piano and classical guitar at the boarding school of the Landesschule Pforta near Naumburg. He received his first guitar lessons from Falk Zenker .
In 2003, he studied music education directly at the Carl Maria von Weber University of Music in Dresden , majoring in concert guitar (world music).
In 2009 he began postgraduate studies in the subject "Acoustic Guitar" with Prof. Thomas Fellow , which he passed with distinction.
Since 2005 he has been working as a freelance guitarist, composer, arranger and music teacher.
