We Pangurbes are: The City Indians. With our sound and image we want to allude to the third world. The stories of the neighborhood, the street and legends of the indigenous and black worldview that migrate from the popular to the city to reflect a part of our current world. Our music makes a call to Colombian and Latin memory. A journey through a universe called "El Ciudeblo", a place where incoherence, satire, rebellion and dance speak. Our roots are in Cauca, the South and North Pacific. Influenced by contemporary sounds (Timba, Funk, Rap, etc.) and different colors and atmospheres of Electronic Music and Afrobeat. In the saying of a peasant from southern Cauca, Panguano means Indian, ignorant, uneducated, and city refers to the masses, the people, the city. The name symbolizes the resistance and the feeling to recognize ourselves as mestizos.
