Otee Beatz coined the motto “were if not for music, we will say life is far less beautiful” with the intentions to inspire his listeners.
Starting his journey long before he laid his hands on a digital audio workstation, Otee Beatz grew up listening to various Afro Beat, hip-pop, r&b, Afrohouse and jazz musicians along with their unique artistry. He is Inspired by genre-defining acts such as Fela Kuti, Bob Marley, Brenda Fasi, William Onyeabor, Dr Dre and Evi Edna Ogholi, and driven to refine the music of the African diaspora worldwide while maintaining its distinct cultural nature and appeal.
Noted for his prototypical beats and musical performances, Otee Beatz has proven to stand out from the norm. The producer and DJ is determined to create a new lane for himself.
