Apeles is the solo project of the brazilian singer and songwriter Eduardo Praça. After almost two decades on the road and a few broken strings behind, Eduardo brings on a unique artistic flight, well-marked by a constant sound and lyric experimentation.
As a young rocker as the guitarist of the iconic band Ludovic, revealed itself posteriorly a singer and songwriter of the duo Quarto Negro. From 2017 on, Eduardo concentrates his creative process on the concept development of Apeles. The sonority of the project travels a wide range of aesthetics like exquisite-pop, shoegaze and disco music, among others. Those vast references, makes Apeles a great musical and poetical catalyst.
On Apeles discography we find two full albums - Rio do Tempo (2017) and Crux (2019) -, besides a cinematographic series of videos, another huge passion of the artist. With an artistic trajectory forged under an infinite curiosity and research, this kind of experimentation is not uncommon to the artist when one listens to it. On the other hand, it is strange that the musician is always departing and that only makes the journey even more interesting.
