Pierre Sibille started performing at a very early age. Singer, pianist, organist and harmonica player, he gave his first blues and soul music concerts in the south-east of France at the age of 14. He then pursued his musical dreams in the capital, playing in the prestigious clubs where his idols Memphis Slim and Nina Simone played: the Trois Mailletz, the Jazz Club Lionel Hampton and the Bilboquet. He then became musician-in-residence at Sugar Bar (New York), the famous club of Valerie Simpson and Nick Ashford. This legendary couple wrote five of Motown's biggest hits, and scored early hits for Ray Charles and Marvin Gaye. He is currently releasing a new album in French: "Entre-2-Rives" - Travels and experiences shared in recent years between the shores of his hometown; Hyères and those of Manhattan... His heart sways.
