Nikos Papazoglou, born on March 20, 1948, in Kormista, Serres, Greece, was a singer-songwriter, producer, and musician. He began his career performing with local Greek groups in the 1960s and moved to Aachen, Germany, with the group Zilotis in 1972, recording six songs in Milan before returning to Greece. Papazoglou's breakthrough came in 1978 with Ekdikisi Tis Gyftias, a critically acclaimed work based on Aristophanes' comedy The Acharnians. He continued his successful collaborations the following year with Ta Dithen. In 1984, Papazoglou organized his own tours, performing in small venues across Greece and gaining significant popularity. His notable albums include Χαράτσι (1984) and Μέσω Νεφών (1986). Well-known songs by Papazoglou include "Κανείς εδώ δεν τραγουδά" and "Αχ Ελλάδα". He died on April 17, 2011, after a long battle with cancer.
