Popion is a composer. He plays mainly the piano, and keyboards with hushed sounds that make the notes weightless and the people who cling to them. His music, in a few tunes, prevents the night from sleeping. With him the sounds of yesterday are reluctant to leave again. They are nostalgia without sadness, transport without gesticulations. When Popion is at the piano, in this world that goes round in circles, a universe is built, half Satie, half Folon. There is not a unique style Popion, but definitely a touch. His music sails according to the moods and multiple musical genres he has worked with. Sometimes helped by other musicians, tactfully, Popion has the ability to probe the listener. By small musical touches, he tries to make the air of the time a little more serene and breathable.
