FATMO began his journey in France, working in recording studios as sound engineer with renowned artists such as Pascal Obispo and La Rumeur, Kat DeLuna, Jean-Roch. Before relocating to UK, FATMO was between London and Paris producing music for French Hip-Hop artists & working on making connections within the London Music scene.
Curious of the Uk music culture & love of London’s Jamaican scene, he decided to move to Brixton, London. Here he recorded Caribbean and Hip-hop artists, produced his own music drawing heavily from the influence of Dancehall and Afro beat.
Currently rooted in Hackney, East London, he established BEMO STUDIOS in 2016.
Engineering for independent artist and working on projects for major labels such as Universal Music.
More recently FATMO’s work featured on the latest VSO album, for the track BN in collaboration with BLV.
May 2020 he released his first remix of “Taïro – A quoi tu joue’’, a well known artist of the French reggae scene. His remix has elements of Afro house, Soca riddim & electro.
He released his second remix at the end of May of the international artist Niska with a strong Afro House and Soca influence. Niska remix is perfect for the club and an introduction to FATMO’s incoming Ep: "LONDON TREE".
