ROYALDUB a mix of Ambient Reggae, Ska, Hip Hop, Electronic & Dub
Royal Dub originated from Brendon and Jon’s (members of Brighton band Dubious Roots) desire to create music with a blend of Ambient Reggae, Ska, Hip Hop, Electronica and Dub. Both multi instrumentalists they found great joy in the freedom they had to experiment. The sessions at “Sweet as Studios” were productive with Brendons NZ roots bringing through a sound of the Pacific and Jons guitar blends laying a foundation. The journey involves the meeting of minds with various collaborators adding to the offbeat vibe.
