Yvan Paul Nijimbere better known by his stage name as GOLDEN, is a Burundian rapper, singer, and songwriter.
He launched his music career in 2014, with a release of a single "Let Me Know" under the name of "Fine Boy", in March 24.
The latter was well-received and came out to be an anthem in different radios and areas of Burundi.
Born in Kamenge, Bujumbura, Burundi, and raised in Nyakabiga and Bwiza where he spent almost his childhood and adulthood, and he then relocated to Namibia.
After releasing "Show Me The Way" (2016), "Life is a battle" (2016) and "Mtoto wa yatima" (2017), he got signed a record deal with Bonlive in 2019.
He rose to prominence after releasing his debut album "Now I Know", the following year.
He followed it with a series of successful singles under the same Record Label, tracks like "Slow Down" (2020), "Love For You" (2020), "Trust In You" (2021).
Golden's music is generally Hip Hop, R&B, Reggae but also incorporates Pop, Afro beat among other genres.
